today i went to work and found out they are testing the BigDog robot here at work. there walking it arround the flight line and making it walk in and out of the osprey see out well it does. I guess the Marines are looking at these things to start using them in combat situations. for example dropping them out of aircraft and letting them go bring supplys and what not into combat. or using them in uban combat, or help detecting ieds.

they arent anywhere near ready yet cause even while the 2 hours today i was watching them they had alot of issues. and even the guys working on them know they arnt ready for much yet. but its a cool concept. asked some questions got some answers. i guess they can hold up to about 150lbs now. they they only have 2 that exist and they were both there.

pretty cool, they have alot of ideas they hope to use someday.
