| Okay, so now the P4 800Mhz FSB CPUs are out, is the AMD XP CPU such a great bargain now? It seems with the OC'ing ability of the P4s, that they would be the way to go. The only benefit I see with AMD motherboards is the nForce 2 sound system. What is the consensus out there? G ![]() | ||

| i'll admit, that p4 may have the faster processor out there, but I know for a fact with AMD you get more Bang for the freakin Buck I don't think the athlon 64's will be anything real special when they come out in september... not until the first quarter of 2004, the athlon 64's will have a new core and dual channel ram enabled, and oh man that's gonna be sweet, but then again everything is yet to be seen ![]() | ||

| 3.2GHz not 3.4GHz. I actually have a change of heart for the first time in my life on this AMD v.s. Intel rage. I have had 9 AMD Processors now, spanning from 1994 to Current. I am getting rather fed up with AMD's lies, mediocre performace, and lag spikes in games. I am proudly announcing that the money for the next processor I buy will goto Intel, which rightful deserves it for once. There hasn't been an Intel bought in our house in just over 4 years now, but the times will be changing. Only people in my house who have ever used an Intel are my brother and sister and their computers were slow as hell. They both had P2's, and my K6 smoked them to death, yet had half the cache and was only 150mhz faster than my brothers. Times have now changed though and Intel is showing that the money that they steal from us is going to good use, designing good new processors. My next machine will be a custom built Intel Centrino laptop from Asus for just under $1600 Canadian, which is a steal when you think about it. | ||

| "Harsh? nahh..the rig prolly see's b-boy, and starts crying and prays "Dont add a spoiler and wheels to me, like my little brother!" lol" yeah I can hear my rigs crying throughout the night about how their being abused and cutup. Their like Micheal Jackson, their having a change of face. ![]() Yeah BA, but does your board got regualr IDE RAID? I don't want SATA because none of my drives are SATA and I don't want to spend extra money on converters, which I can't find anyways. | ||
