Warning! All temps are in Metric..(I figured most of us are used to CPU temps in metric so what the heck)

This is the first year in a long time that up here the May long weekend is hot. Let me define hot for you in May in Calgary. If its above 20°C thats warm...above 25°C that's hot...Usually May long weekend is raining and cold and most of the time we get a spring snow storm. We are a hardy bunch up here and that weather usually doesn't deter us from the unofficial first day of camping so the campgrounds are full no matter what. This year the week leading up to May Long has been in the high 20's even low 30's...I swear the campgrounds were full on the Monday before. It's crazy but sweet! Me and the kids have been outside all weekend so far and this morning is no different. I am sitting on my deck enjoying my Large Double Double in shorts and a T-Shirt at 9:00am and sweating while I am writing this....

For all the Canuck pimps...How did you spend your May Long and for the American Pimps how do you plan on spending yours?


Well I suppose I should go and get some work done....in a bit..the sun is just too nice...

Down here in Ontario its been cool and windy (but at least its not raining. It's been raining for the last 2 weeks). I bought some fireworks and hung out with my friends. Thats about it.

Weve been having really werid weather lately...A couple days ago it was nice..like in the 70's, and then..BAM out of no where a storm comes, and its sunny out! A couple hours later the temp drops to 45. Wtf?

They're predicting hot weather (mid 80s) for here in NY too. I'm going to see X-men 3 on Friday and we might got to an Air Show on Sunday. It's gonna be fun.

I hate the weather though, it'll be hot throughout the day and you go out after 7/8 and it's high 40s/low 50s, agreeing with Nerdz' post

wow. I envy every one of yall right now. It was about 90-95 today and it was humid. And its not even june yet. Once june comes around we're going to bust past 100 easy.

Houston sucks.

Well, it's Memorial Day weekend for everybody in the states...

It was Victoria Day here in Canada this past weekend..the first long weekend of the summer...now if only we could convince the gov't that we need another one in June!

I'll be working my @$$ off for the weekend. I've got a review over due currently, and getting hammered at work - I get off, get called back twice... . memorial day weekend, I figure I'll be working 14-17 hour days because of all the tourists. Sorry for the rant, I just really hate this upcoming weekend.

no worries and I don't think its off topic at all...its what you are going to be doing...it sucks major arse man and I feel for ya...been there done that and I never want to do it again...all long weekends used to mean fo rme was I got paid time and a half for working the one day...I would so rather be jetskiing...jetskiing in Alaska?...well you are on your own on that one Iat!

Yah - but when you get as much O/T as me and live at my level, it's a major bummer. Hey, don't start making fun of Alaska... I'm one of few US bastards that know how you Canadian's feel about stupid snow comments.
