| thank hawk for the sig. for a user like this n00b, he wouldn't use the capabilitys that a VERY fast comp would give him. And beside gaming and compiling. You don't really notice anything that is all that fast. A few issues I have with ppl: My uncle, a admin for Metro Hospitals, has an AMD 2400+ and a high end gf2. not a match. My other uncle, gettin his MSCE, sees no reason for highspeed internet, and uses netzero himself. These guys are supposed to be the smarter ppl in the compute/technology world. Where most ppl who post on PR would probably know more than them. | ||

| Haha i know what you mean, overkill has something going on that seems to relate to that somewhere over here EDIT: to avoid being a total @$$ and with the post below building your own computer is a lot better and cheaper, learn alot about what the h311 is going on in there and it will be about 500$ cheaper... go to the sites mentioned below and add some things up then go to dell...you will see what i mean, plus you dont get that nasty dell case and total lack of upgrad/modability Last edited by Cow; 11-July-03 at 08:47 PM.. | ||

| Lokie's Personal WU-Hoe | www.newegg.com www.resellerratings.com www.xoxide.com www.coolerguys.com www.case-mod.com www.svc.com There you have it, all the sites you will need to get started on building your own computer. Sure there are more, but that will start you off on a good foot. Don't ask what they are, click and find out. Don't ignore the links and say "I want my damn pre built computer!" since building your own is better, much better. Once you have some better questions, I'm sure you will get some very good suggestions. Ask some questions like the ones BA mentioned. | |
