Okay i've been reading and commenting ont eh airsoft paintball war in the weaposn thread so i figured why not start a thread so us members who have paintball guns can share what we own and converse about gear selections

Okay my gear Stock tippmann 98Custom with a remote line kit. Soon to come a sniper twist barrel, and expansion chamber and a small 4x scope.

Whats the point in a sniper barrel with out a scope to zero in and pick people off

On a side note anyone know anywhere that still sells the old Big Balls those things shoot amazing out my 98 i just can't find them.

After a series of equipment failures/retirements, I have become reduced to an "arsenal" of two old PT Enforcers, neither of which can fire more than about one magaizine load (10 rds+1 in the chamber) before needing a new 12g CO2 cartridge.

Way back in college I played Paintball, before it was popular, and had a really cool gun that had been modified by the guys who ran the place we played at to shoot at the max velocity allowed. It was a little pump-action pistol and accurate as hell. But this was bak in the late 80s. Haven't played since then..

Bone stock Tippman 98 Custom.

The picture is from when I first bought it. It's still the same setup, just a pair of 9oz tanks and some scratches now.

I've started out with an orion (cheap, it was 49 dollars, but it's pretty good and balls don't break in the barrel when shot rapidly):

I've camoed my hopper and i have camoflauge clothing for woods ball. It's pretty fun. But, i still haven't gotten around to doing any actual tournaments. The brand is Viewloader. P'ball pwns airsoft by far...i can actually see if i hit someone..lol. I have a 20 oz. cylinder....i'll take some pics when we get a digital cam soon.

The latest markers that I had

SP impulse, close to 800$ put into this gun
Dye Matrix
and the list goes on of all the guns my sponsors made me shoot
Went through several shockers, and proto's as well!

Back when I used to play, I was head ref at the local field, playing there for free anytime. And, from sponsorships, getting paint, by the case...Free...Gear, to shoot...Free...And Clothes...almost Free

After playing competively for close to two years, I just got burnt out on it. Sold my last gun this past month for 500$...I miss it already!

I want to get a Tippman, but i just don't have the $$. I'm saving up for an amd system and a guitar so can't really put any money aside.

Wow, those are some wicked guns, heh soon though i'll have my sniper outfit, i just wish there were tournements where i live, paintball just isn't quite big enough at the moment.
