Help me find a new desk

So my old desk, its starting to get old, so I'm starting to look for a desk.

I want something classy, and high-tech, if you know waht I mean, something that looks "modern"

First thing I spotted was this

So I took a trip to staples to check it out, only problem, the keybaord tray isnt big enough for a mouse and a keyboard. Thats another thing I need, the kaybaord tray must be able to house a keybaord and a mouse with ample spacee left over.

The only thing was i could not use a keyboard because i am to darn tall and my knees would hit the keyboard tray but the keyboard was a good size, i bought this desk at Staples my self and i like it a lot there is tons of room with the drawers and shelves i got.

Hmmm, that is a very nice desk, But I've got a 19" CRT, and it doesnt look like it would fit, whilst having room for a kaybaord in fron of it.

BTW, nice cubes, I hate you

Hi Waffle,

Got a question or two.

1. Got a cat? Don't buy the desk.

2. Got a lot of glass cleaner? Don't buy the desk.

3. Got a lot of heavy stuff on your desk? Don't buy the desk.

I had a glasstop desk for about two years and I hated it. Hard to keep clean as everything shows up pretty nasty on it, plus you've got to limit what you put on your desk, too. If you've got kids, I'd highly advise not getting this desk.

HERE is the desk that I got and it's been the nicest desk that I've ever had. In the past five years, I've gone through five different desks and by far, I'm really impressed with this one.

Dammit! I remembered this awesome site that would allow you to customize your own desk. They were pretty expensive, but they looked awesome. I'm going to edit this post once I find the site.

Yes Rob desk is also nice, my neighbor has one just like it and it is pretty darn big also.
I just wanted one that had a few more shelfs and file cabinet, that is why i got one like i have now if it was not for that i would have gotten one just like Rob.

It does come with the keyboard tray i just did not install it because i am so darn tall and my legs would hit the tray that is why you do not see it.

Yes i am 6''7" tall and that is why you do not see the keyboard tray on my setup. I can not remember how big the tray was it was oversize keyboard tray i know i gave it to my brother who needed one. You should be able to check them right at staples or they can tell you. I was lucky they had that desk on display when i was looking.

this is the only one i can fine that is simular to mine on there website, http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/st...oductId=101887 if i remember right when i got there they could not find it ether, they had to put the barcode in it from the one they had there then it came up with the right desk, i was looking for my recent orders from them and of course they only store orders for 90 days, darn i wished i kept my receipt from it but i do not have it no longer sorry, The only thing i could say is, if you have a printer print out the picture of the one i have and show them that tell them you know someone that had purchase this desk from staples and they should be able to help you out.

I'll post a pic of my desk later on, but the CRT thing is a no-brainer for mine, it fits a 21" Trinitron like it was custom-made for it, decent sized KB tray (I turned my RatPadz GS sideways), and plenty of space all around.

Cons: it costs like a sumbeeotch, and weighs a ton...

Soon as I can remember where the heck I bought it, I'll post up a link to it as well...

EDIT: Picture of the desk... Yes, I know it's messy and cluttered, but that IS a 21" CRT in the monitor space...
