I moved out in the country to get away from guns being pointed at me, my next door neighbors selling drugs, cops not doing a DAMN thing about it (that is a rant for another day), I try not to dwell too much on the past.

Well, I checked out the guns, got them loaded (I live by myself, so I have that luxuary), and have a 60# dog food eating burglar alarm in the house at night, so I think I will be ok.

Well, you always have to be carefull, I just hate to go back to a defensive nature at my house.

Might not hurt to look into some body armor and heavier guns/ammo until these idiots are caught (and if there is any justice, lynched)...

A dog is great, but at 60 pounds (what breed, BTW?), I think I'd be more scared of a 200-pound mastiff at a full stride...

EDIT: Maybe even look into some triple-ought buck or even some really coarse rock salt shells...

Even Better, LandMines or trip mines, or wire that when tripped activates a loud alarm, big lights, Or an explosive (not a explosive to hurt, just something that will make a loud BOOM and wake everyone up or scare the robbers)

Heh, I would love to see these guys underestimating the 60 pound female pitbull in my house (along with a 100 pound pit/Rot mix and another mixed breed female), she would tear their ass for lunch.
On the offhand chance they did make it through the dogs, they would have two guys armed to the teeth with guns, knives, swords, polearms, and battle axes all up in their grills.
Hope it doesn't come to that for you though (or for me either but boy would they get a surprise).

True enough..... Guess I overlooked that in my hurry to play ET last night.

The mutt in question is my Chow/lab mix. Looks like he weighs more than he does due to the hair, but a lot of people seem scared of him. Don't tell any criminals, but all he will do is bark at your feet, but it looks impressive.

I found the ACME rocket launcher section on Ebay, and have one on the way! For body armor, I am going to use empty beer cans, crush them and sew them together with titanium thread. Well, I have to go back to work getting those empty beer cans for my armor.

strap a bomb to the back of your german shephard. Make the bomb sound-activated.....(well, i guess numerous things could happen with this one but....) it would work. Well, i live on the outskirts of mankato, MN and we haven't had any crime out here. But, i used to live with my mom in some bad neighbors and that was scary....so i'm armed to the teeth and i'm 14 years old. I have a compound bow (lol, 65 pound draw), ole' daisy BB gun (haha), hatchet, .22 semi auto 15 rd tube mag remington w/ hollow points, 12 gauge shotgun w/ turkey shot, and a ole' double-barreled 20 gauge shotgun that knocked my cousin right on his arse a couple months ago (shooting off dear slugs). Oh yeah, and i forgot about my fishing pole lol...
