Default PDA not charging after being dead for 4 months?

i lost the charger to my ipaq, finally got a new one, and now it wont turn on.......wtf. Can things be so dead that it takes a while for the battery to recharge?

Try turning it on with the battery out of it.

Sometimes once the battery is so far gone without a charge you may need to replace the battery itself.

My iPAQ used to do the same thing to an extent... let it charge for a while and see if that helps. As long as the little charge indicator light is blinking, you should be good... unless your battery is shot.

What model iPAQ is it? I so happen to have a dead iPAQ 3850 that the data port broke on it and I don't want to shell out for repairs. I'd be willing to sell you the battery for a nominal fee if you need it.

if you dont charge a lithium pack in a while it dies. after cell voltage drops below like 2.8 volts a li-po cell will actually balloon and die. if you plug the ipaq in and it boots but dies when you unplug it you need a new battery.
