I am getting ready to push off a new project called Computers For Children, and would like to know if anyone here would like to help, CFC involves the recycling of older
PC s, and used parts, to provide poor kids and individuals that otherwise can't afford a
pc , with one.. I already have most of the program worked out ,as it is loosely based on the Computers For Soldiers program from last year. Needless to say ,CFS was a huge success ,and Sgt. Jeff Wade was able to fully stock over 25 fireshacks in Afghanistan, due mostly in part ,to the genorousity of the trader forums that I belong to. We stripped and shipped old pcs, that would be reassembled by Jeff and a couple of others, to provide soldiers more online time with home. Jeff's home now, and the guy that took his place, doesn't seem to have what it takes, to continue the program over there. I learned that U only need ask for a good cause, and help pours out from everywhere. Towards the end, 3 forums were actually building NEW PCs and donating them as well. CFC brings this idea down to a need much closer to home. There are a lot of 1 parent families, that have thier budget stretched to the max, just surviving week to week, never mind buying a
PC set-up. CFCs motto is," Computers For Children, every kid needs one". and" We can achieve miracles, one part at a time". I cut this short, and if you have any interest, please contact me ,via E-mail at bigdaddy512005 AT cox.net ,and we can discuss this very need campaign further. TIA ,and Please help.
