Default Super Nintendo broke my pliars!

i was at valuevillage and they had a snes for $5 which i have been looking for for a portable SNES project so i picked it up. since i dont have the nintendo screwdriver i went with the destroy method and apparently plastic is stronger than steel. so now my main pair of pliars is broken which is going to be a problem since now i cant work on my chainmail untill i get a similar pair. luckily i have bigger tools (bigger linesman pliars and a boltcutter) to finish ripping open the nintendo carcass to remove the 1993 goo that is SNES. portable SNES should be done sometime this summer since my 5 inch video LCD isnt working out.
any tool is the right tool and its not a mod unless you break something

i guess i'm off to the store to get a new tool

Nice, those pliers were probably cheap and from china. Get craftsmen pliers or the eq (but not china crap.)

I think you can overclock these consoles..or was it the sega genesis...?

Craftsman hand tools have been Chinese junk for over a decade. Luckily I own mine from circa 1970.

You serious? I thought they were still made in the USA. But still, they do carry that nice lifetime warrenty. If it breaks they will replace it for free.

Eh - they're US made, but the quality sucks anymore making them about par with Chinese "drop forged" items. I like the air tools still, but that's about it. I have an el-cheapo set of sockets that are a lot better in terms of strength than my craftsman set that I got 4 years ago.

If you want good quality electricians tools...pliers and cutters, etc... try:
http://www.kleintools.com/

You can get some of the Klein tools at Home Depot... These are the ones they lock up in the case. I've used these for years and they are great.
The screw drivers are especially good. No more having to deal with Philips screwdriver tips that wear down after a week!
