The most violant FPS game to date is getting a movie. Whom, you ask, would direct such a movie. None other then ****ty director of such box office Flops as House of the Dead and Blood Rayne. Thats Right, Uwe Boll is directing this movie.
This man will not stop until he has tarnished the name of video games forever. One would assume he would have learned by now, but nope. Even though his latest crappy movie, Blood Rayne, only grossed 1.2 million dollars in its opening weekend. He is also going to be directing a movie with the name Dungeon Siege slapped on it. Thats all I have to say about that for now.

IMHO the whole movie industry is lacking.

Most movies now are remakes of older movies, which do not need to be re-done. Or movies made from game plot lines, why?

Seems there are no original ideas for movies anymore.

With the cash that can be made in the Box office, one would think that better writers would emerge.

Hey, I'm not saying that every flick has to be deep and meaninless, but come on, some movies just plain SUCK. Visually and mentally.

Here's a movie I'm waiting for.

Picture this: (wavy lines from Wayne's World)
Everything is Black and White except for the Screen. The kids will have names that could be male or female. They will also look as if they could be male or female...like Pat from SNL.

1. Kid is on IRC or in some chat room.
2. He / She uses an improper leet speak and gets flamed.
3. He / She runs out of the house crying and yelling "They're all picking on me"
4. Switch to another house.
5. Kid is chatting away about his new system.
6. He / She gets flamed for bragging about a sub-par system.
7. He / She runs out of the house crying and yelling "They're all picking on me"
8. They run into each other, Trying you out-do each other with "My life is worse than your's", part ways and go back into their own rooms and post in their blog how lame they (other person) is. (Evil laughter or green / red tint to the screen )
9. They read each other's blog (camera zooming in and out while Pyscho is playing).
10. They horrified and put each other on their ignore list.
11. Movie ends.

You know...This movie would suck, but I could probably make this movie for minimal cost and people would still watch. Greenlight here I come.

even some of the upcoming are nothing but remakes or sequels .... ( how many super man or batman movies can there be? )

is hollywood really that desperate for ideas that they must RECYCLE everything ?????
