INTEL HAS NEW LOGOS...yep...

For those needed to know the score and what to look for, Intel has had a redesign and ditched their wonky "e" in favor of a more...classy looking logo?

, I say $10 it was proposed by email on an AMD Machine...Drawn out on a Sun Microsystems Workstation...Initially designed on an Apple G5, Final designs rendered through a RiscPC and Printed off from an Amiga...

Where as i use both AMD and Intel CPU's ............. I'll be DaYuM'd if im puttin on anything on ANY RIG that says " CORE DUO" sounds like a quote from an appisode of "Queer eye for the Intel guy"

LOL! I agree. Core Duo sounds, well, not right! Come one now Intell, Dual Core, that sounds like it has some power. And yes, one of my computers is an Intell, nice little computer, not trying to bash on Intell, but that name...

Funny as heck to me, I have a weird sence of humor!

I think it happened because of a translation problem.... I think I will let my internal censor kick in and just leave the imaginary conversation that got it translated wrong up to your own imagination.

Their naming scheme is still FUBAR. They spent years marketing bigger number == better. A P233 is better than a P166. But now with everything nobody knows wtf is going on. AMD uses somewhat arbitrary numbers, but at least they make sense.

EDIT:And i still think the centrino logo looks like something that should be on a maxi pad box.
