Buddy List????

Anyone tried the Buddy List yet? I've added to it...but does it actually work like MSNM or AIM just within the Forums? Is it only a PM tool?

Guess it only allows you to see which of your "Buddies" is online, quick link to PM and quick link for user info.

Maybe this function could be enhanced to act like a messaging service?

(But for those who got there post counts back...take a look at how many posts you make on average per day...too funny!!!)

it is possible to send an AIM through a link. It shouldn't be too hard to add that to the PM screen. the format is, IIRC, something like Aim::msg MCP

EDIT -- this adds "http://" automatically, but it was something like that. all AIM functions can be done through a site IIRC

It would be sweet to have it contained only within PR...not everyone has AOL AIM.

if you mess around with your settings you can set it to pop up a window when you get a PM... if that isn't good enough.. DL AIM...

I did set that setting up in the Control Pannel.
