GRE Scores...

Just got done taking the GRE. Thought I'd do better but sleepiness kicked in right as I finished the writing portion of the test. I nodded off a couple of times, losing a few minutes here and there so my answers were rushed. Almost didn't finish one section.

Anyway, got a 500 on the verbal and a 610 on the quantitive. It's slightly higher than the national average and it's good enough to get me into grad school. The writing portion score will be sent to me in about two weeks.

I only studied for two days on this....think maybe I should have studied a little bit more. Anyway, I've been up for about 28 hours now....I'm going to bed.

Congrats on getting through it--and with good scores, too! After reading a number of your thought-provoking posts here, I'm sure you did great on the written part, too.

Get some rest, if you feel like crap waking up I suggest some warm coffee.

It made my day to see you pass the quantitative like that after helping you last night, I'm sure _Sexy_Pants_ and mrcracker feel the same way too.

I took the GRE a few years back (before they had the writing section), and I remember the terrible feeling in my gut when I was staring at the screen that said "If you want to see your scores and send them to the schools click here... If you want today to never have happened click here". I didn't think I'd done poorly, but I still sat there for a few seconds looking at that screen.

The quantitive on the GMAT kicked me around like a drunk scottish football hooligan.
Glad I never have to do it again. I hate the adaptive testing format... remember old-school fill in the ovals with the #2 pencil? Ah... the good ol' days.
