So i was woundering are there any cool gagets or cool tech stuff you guys like messing around with?

I like stuff like the new ipod nano (but i have a 20 gig)
just realy cool gagets like those high power green
laser pens (to bad the illigal in my town)

i just picked up the ipod nano a few days ago.

its my first apple product i have ever owned, and i love it. i will never buy a apple comp, but i would buy future ipods or MP3 players from them. this thing is amazingly thing, and lightweight.

i have the black 4 gig model $249, and picked up the $49.00 earbud style headphones. for a total price of nearly $320.00 w/taxes but before a military discount of about $18.00. i know i could have bought it a little cheaper off of Ebay, but i live near the Mall of America in Minnesota, and we have a apple store in there.

i would write up a review on it, but honestly there are better reviews out there already than anythign i could write about it.

im waiting on my alienware area51 7700m laptop to show up finally. it ships out tomorrow, after a cancelled order and dealing with thier idiot CS reps. i have only 1 complaint about AW at this time, and that is this crappy purchasing system. your system gets delayed 48 hours if you make any kind of change to your order. if there is a new rebate or something, you have to cancel your order and start all over again. a typical system takes 2 to 4 weeks to build.. err order from Clevo and slap AW logos all over it. /boggle

i like things that light up. so speaking of green lasers i bought one, pryed it open and adjusted it to give me 15-20 mw. (polarization corrected and pot adjusted) i reccomend them to anyone who points at stuff often. i also removed all the black paint so it has a plain brass body.
then i guess the other big thing is the tablet PC. i've slowly been showing people the superior ways of pen computing. try one and you will be converted too.

In a smokey or foggy atmosphere yes.
On a clear night or in any room your only going to see the spot on what its pointed at.

And the green ones are said to be seen at further distances.
