Default Damn You Spam!!!

I decided recently that it'd be kind of cool to start using my "darksamurai@angelfire.com" account again....

I turned it off roughly 3 months ago at "High Protection" to ONLY allow people I've given permission (which is nobody).

I figured after a couple of months had gone by, they'd get the clue and take me off their lists...

WRONG. Within a week, those ****ing spammers filled my account from 10 emails to over 500 and pushed over the top of my 4 megs of space...

This SUCKS! My Angelfire "Block" list is already over 2000 e-mail addresses long... give a guy a break already!!!

Dark,
Yesturday I watching the news and I found out that AOL/Time Warner is sueing 5 major companies that produce email spam.

I will try and find it on cnn.com but still, would be kinda cool.

Aol has been trying to improve.
Their new servers are running Unix under fiber.

I can download off any aol server at any time at around 600kbps without it slowing down and I am only on 2mbit cable.

Faster than the microsoft site.

Maybe one day, if aol would to lower their prices, aol would be a great.

I keep a yahoo account for junk account - if a site demands an email to get access to, I use my yahoo... I was grandfathered and still have a free 6 mb yahoo account, and it maxs out every other day. No spam on my other 4 accounts thought

I keep the yahoo account as my main, it has the best filters.
Hotmail has the worst. Especially since MS sells your email as soon as you sign up.

DuckWarrior - I have found the opposite to be true. I never get spam on my MSN account and I've used it for over a year now, not a single unsolicited email. Yahoo's filter only snags 30% or so of the spam email sent to it.

You have an MSN account....and in over a year you have never receive a single piece of spam....not even from Microsoft....

You have never in that entire year received a single piece of unsolicited email...not even from Microsoft.....

And I have some ocean front property here in Kansas you may be interested in.

Do you actually expect us to believe that? Do you honestly expect us to believe that out of the hundreds of thousands of people who have MSN accounts that you are the only single person on this earth who never received a single piece of spam?

GTFOOH.

BigAkita - I honestly haven't got one single piece of spam email on my msn account. I don't get why that is so hard to believe, but it's true. Nada, zilch, not a single spam email.

Edit - I was stupid enough to subscribe to MSN features, but removed it from my options and never had a problem after that point. Since that was a selection process goof on my part I don't count it as spam.
