| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | That information is really thin. Could you please list the system specs? And what was happenening when it flatlined? Prelim: try booting up with a pair of headphones connected to the onboard audio and listen closely. The little voice may tell you what's wrong. | |

I agree. Good possibility that it's the RAM. And this is from Microsoft's website: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...d_stp_ccgm.asp Stop 0x00000050 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA The Stop 0x50 message indicates that requested data was not in memory. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause Stop 0x50 messages. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Yeah, I googled it and got the same information TimberWolf did. Seems like you need to check your BIOS for memory settings, and since it's probably a Gateway/Dell/HP/whatever, look up the specs for what type of memory it takes, as in the pin, etc. and try to replace the memory if you can't fix it on the software end. | ||

| Hey, glad you fixed it. I'm slow getting to these posts sometimes. Here is a cool webpage I use to find out what some of those DSOD codes are for. Hope it helps for future problems. http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm | ||
