Default Web spottage: Pentium M @ 2.26GHz in Japan.

Where the world is 5-6 years ahead of itself, where blu-ray is where VHS is currently sitting over here, the Japanese never fail to get the latest products YEARS ahead. This example is no exception - the Pentium M 780, with 2MB Cache and a 533 bus is now availible at $689 USD - expect lower models to plummet in price.

The fastest and latest Pentium M 780 processor clocked at 2.26GHz as been spotted on retail shelves in Japan! The processor is currently not published on Intel's page or has been announced yet. The fastest model that is listed on Intel's page is the 770, clocked at 2.13GHz.
