I went to put the sprinklers out, and saw this hanging on the hose rack. The Silver points are chrome and highly reflective. Just wish I had a better camera.

Big Akita do you no what kind of bug that would be i never seen anything like that almost looks like it is in a cocoon.Very weird looking.Got some cool colors to it thu

No, I've never seen a cocoon with chrome highlights before. I told the boys and frau to be careful around it so we can see what happens.

I'm in Kansas. Like I said before I've never seen a bug with chrome before.

I checked out the sentence and interpreted it to:

Yes, that would be the best thing to do. Your kids may never know what it could turn in to.

Hrm. In the mid-west, it's hard to tell what sort of bug that could be. Since I don't live even remotely close to there, I don't have any idea. I Google'd it to no avail.

Thought your location would help, but nothing. Interesting little specimen and definitely fits the name of Nature's Pre-Mod, heh. Just needs some cold cathodes and maybe a blowhole.
