That there hasn't been a Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince thread created yet....hmmm....or if there has, i havn't had the time to scour through the numerous threads here to check Must be too busy "snogging" my fiance. I love that word, and to those who live in England, is that used a lot?

And for the really dirty minded people, snogging = making out.

Anyways, for those that have read and finished the book, what do you think?

1) Snogging was kinda given up circa 1995....no one says it anymore expect to portray a really nasty sloppy kiss with oodles of Tommy Tongue. Its pulling over here, just making out....

2) Has to be the worst start to a thread all week from a n00b

3) Harry Potter books are good for one thing...happy slapping Harry Potter fans with

Actually, I was going to wait a while to talk about the book as many people haven't read it yet. Yes, I did pick it up from the bookstore after midnite but it was on my way home from work so no big deal. I finished the book about 8 p.m. that Saturday (after class and a nap, of course).

There are several things that I'd like to discuss with some HP fans here but I'll do it later when everyone's read the book.

We all know Nev isnt a n00b. He drives a mini. Here in the UK, n00bs are prohibited from driving minis, thus my conclusion...

Nev, happy slapping isn't funny

However, this is

Why?? No Time? No patients? or the chosen one is for sissies?

If no time to read then consider books on tape or CD.

Any other answer requires that you HEX yourself and your Quiditch contract be revoked.

I just remembered something funny i heard about the first book/film when it was released in the US.

Here in the UK, J.K. Rowling named it Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

When it was released in the US, the publishers changed the name to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone as they didn't think most Americans would know what a Philosopher is

The only books I've had the time to read (parts of at a time) in the last 10 years are
1. The Florida Building Code
2. Architectural Graphics and Standards
Reading would have to take up either my Gaming, Internet surfing or TV time. And these 3 activities only consume 4 hours daily. I don't even have time for a personal life lately. Hex myself. It would probably be an improvement.

Ya you did, you brought it to all our attention that you and Dex are n00bs. I wonder how many good members weve lost because they didnt want to stick around and watch you throw your weight around.....which from what i understand has been put on slimfast due to that *mouth* of yours.

About the book, my wife got it the other day and said it was great. Ive never read the whole series of books but she is definately a follower of the series and was pretty excited about what happened in this one. The audiobooks are fantastic. I remember watching the movies and thinking "the characters were cooler in the audiobooks", despite them all being from the same guy.

To both Sparky and Nev, do NOT continue this conversation in the forums.
You will not like the result if you do.
