| Have fun Kay! Warm Sun, surf and almost naked women... Wish I was goin' somewhere warm... Oh well... 6 to 8 months, I'll be down south. Not sure where yet... but I am fuggin' SICK of freezin' my ass off 9 months out of the year. Montana isn't as bad as ND, but I think I'd like to spend a coupla years without my best friend going into hiding for months on end... Anyway.... end of my rant! Enjoy ![]() | ||

| Hojo... you'd just adore ND... especially when it hits 80 below (with wind-chill)., No matter how thick your coat is, it feels like someone threw a bucket of ice-water on you, and it's slowly seeping into your bones. You can also have your fingers turn from white (depending on your starting out color anyway... I'm one pale mofo) to pink to red to purple to black... once it hits black, they cut whatever IS black off... I can say from experience... at purple, your joints feel like they're made of rubber bands, and you literally can't feel your fingers and you can feel your blood freezing. That's through gloves... hell, a neighbor of mine... her cat got lost for a day...they had to cut off the tips of his ears, part of his tail all of his joints never unlocked... he walked like he was on stilts... This is a cat. A furry critter that produces a lot of body heat. I wore two ski-masks... it didn't help that much. ND is also the site of my only car accident (with me driving anyway) as I hit a four-foot snow drift on an otherwise clear road (lousy guard-rails on the bridge collected it). The other side is not seeing the sun for 6 months, and the heater is on so often you feel light-headed from the fact you haven't had actual AIR in awhile... Also, if you step outside at 40 below with wet hair... you can LITERALLY break it off. I spent a summer in Oklahoma. It never dropped below 90 for over three months... even at night. I understand that constant heat sucks... believe me... but after the last several years I've had... I just wanna be warm for awhile and get a tan! If I were to fall asleep on a park-bench as it is right now, people would call the morgue thinkin' I was dead. I'm literally white... not beige... white! Anyway... I'm sure I'll go back to loving the cold again... but for now... I just wanna thaw for a few years! | ||

| Kayin.. please forgive me! I forgot to tell you to enjoy your trip. ^_^ DS: My friend likes to chase storms, too. He took me with him once, and that was the first and last time. He said I scream too much. I told him "Well, David.. I'm so sorry that I am committing the atrocity of being afraid of a deadly force of nature! How rude of me! I sure have some gall, don't I?" ![]() | ||
