| Apex Tech Fanatic | i see it really as pointless, but then again i can think of a few thigs to use it for. companies who need to project data to monitors, almost kinda like what you see in airports with all teh flight times and such. other than stuff like that, i see no real need for something like this. but anyways, my money wont be going towards this, so i dont care. | |

| Apex Tech Fanatic | i dont think you would really be runnign those kind of apps on your comp with this GPU. your system would need to be bleeding edge to not be a bottleneck. like i siad, i could see this card being useful for outputing info that doesnt require a whole lot of CPU power, but for anythign that you describe, a 256meg card isnt going to cut it. maybe with a dual core CPU, and a couple gigs of Ram, you might be able to take advanage of this card workign on some serious apps, but i still think you will be bottlenecked by your comp. | |

| I can really only see those being used for two major purposes. 1. security/survalence camera setups 2. hard core simulator gamers (like the pic of the one guy with 28 monitors for his flight sim) still think it would be a fun toy to play around with, talk about maximizing your mutli-tasking skills. | ||

| Colorgraphic is an interesting company, they specialize in boards with multiple displays. I used to have one with Cirrus Logic chipsets and RAMBUS ram. Apparently they also make a dual Radeon 9000 core display adapter. That card also uses the same HiNT controller as the Voodoo 5 6000 did. Basically it tells the PCI bus there's multiple whatever here on one channel of this. | ||
