Default Fireworks

In the United States every year there comes a day where we celebrate by blowing various things up for our pleasure. This day is the 4th of July. Now I feel it my civic duty to have impressive fireworks everywhere. But, I just moved to Southern Virginia and I am wondering what nearby states, besides Pennsylvania where it is legal to obtain all types of fireworks. I would also appreciate it if anyone knew of a way to have them shipped to VA.

Go to a convenient store, ask for some illegal fireworks, set them off and have fun. But seriously, obey any and all laws. Is it just illegal to purchase some types of fireworks? I know in Ohio, about maybe 25 minutes from me is a place called Phantom Fireworks.

Isnt Bonfire Night sort of an amalgum of our halloween and 4th of july? (in the celebratory sense, not the meaning of the holidays...). But yeah, just drive along the highway in any direction, depending on what county you cross into there'll probably be a fireworks stand just off the highway. At least thats how it is around here... Most places you can only buy snakes, caps, sparklers, smoke bombs, but with like a $2 permit you can get the good stuff. I know lot of places that give you a free gross of bottle rockets with permit purchase.

lol no bombfire night or Guy Forkes night is to commemorate the near destruction of the houses of parilement by a one "Guy Forkes" during the English Civil War. He was caught however very close to destroying the buildings (with in minutes probably, but any sources suggest "in the nick of time"). Aren't we British barmy hey? Lets go celebrate the alomst near destruction of early democracy every year without fail.
