Default water tank condensation

I am thinking of ways to put my new water chiller setup into my computer case, and at first glance the parts seem to big to fit. So i thought no problem i will just mod the case, and create room for them at the top. Then i wondered, if the water tank would get any condensation on it (since i am running a second block on a pelt like IcPiper). So i thought, well i will try to put the resavior on the bottom of the tank. Does anyone know if the water tanks would get condensation on it??

ok, its a plastic resavior from dangerden. Sorry about the different terms, yes i know there the same thing.

What i was wondering, since i am hooking a pelt to a second block to cool the water, will that cause the resavior to condesantion on the outside?

kinda like a glass in summer time

does this clear it up.

Hey Jhoop, the reservoir should be fine, I doubt the chiller is going to lower the overall temps that much, but it should lower the temp of the water passing through it on the way to the water blocks.

If the relative humidity is high enough and the water drops below ambient temperature...yes. But I think it highly unlikely a pelt powered chiller would be able to do that in a running system. The best I've seen using a pelt chiller is 4 or 5 C over ambient while running.

I'm not saying you couldn't get that low. Possibly using a 223W pelt and another water cooling system to cool that. lol But it isn't likely. And with the wattage you'd burn up, you'd be much better off using some sort of phase change chiller. A small fridge for instance.
