k well i got tihnking today .. um how exactly do wires get from our side of the planet (can,us) to the other side ? like howcome ic an talk on the phone and go on the internet with other people .. arent teh gaps between to long for wires ? im confused

Yea they run a big bundle of wires across the atlantic. They actually just put a new one in thats from my town to england. Its a pretty big cable. They use a few fiber optic lines in one giant casing and then run it off shore. I forget how many feet down the are but they doing go all the way to the bottom of the ocean.
