I was born in Ukraine (former Soviet Union) In Odessa. Came to the US when I was 5. I want to go and see the city again as I can't remember it from my early childhood.

| American English, and a wee bit of British English. I used to be somewhat okay with French, German, and Spanish, but if ya don't use it, ya lose it. Seeing as how I didn't use it, I lost it. In the near future, I want to start working on Japanese, Chinese, and Italian. I know little words and phrases at the moment, but that doesn't count. ![]() Other languages I want to learn before I kick the bucket are Greek, Russian, Romanian, and maybe Gaelic. I certainly have my work cut out for me. | ||

Well lol most NZ'ers don't class Australian as English ![]() Nah, they are both types of English but the accents are different and the slang as well (esp. Australian slang) As for me, it'd be New Zealand English (pretty much mix of British and American), and plus I've been learning Japanese at school for about 6 years so I'm relatively fluent in that. (Also I can say some phrases in a few other languages, German, Italian etc. but they don't really count) btw good luck learning Gaelic, Anathema... the pronunication's a real bitch, though once you get the hang of it I think it'd be awesome. Russian isn't that hard tho (so I've heard), there isn't really any real sentence order aparantly...
