AP Tests

Anyone here taking/taken AP tests?

I took English AP Language on Monday and Calculus BC on Tuesday. I have US History tomorrow.

The English test was fine but the Calculus test was whoa nelly. The free response questions were scary.

I'm only a junior, so I have just AP Macroeconomics next thursday. I heard that AP Calculous was a monstrosity. A few of my friends who are taking AP US History have had no lives the past week for tomorrow's test.

The Calculus BC test was freakin' hard. The free response question were insane. I would go into details but remember, 48 hours.

Has it not been 48 hours?

The 4th (?) problem with the Polar curve was just vicious. I think I did only part C.

And number six was frightening as well.

Spectrum, don't you have to take micro too? (I'm a junior too, Econ is next year for us)

And yes, USH, past 2 weeks I've been a zombie.

Well, yes, it has been 48 hours. My sense of time has died these few days.

I did not learn polar curves at all this year in Calculus. Question 4 was horrific. I also hated the questions that asked you to explain why something happens. I showed you how it happens why the hell do I have to explain why it happens. Ughh...

I was told I should've taken AP classes and got more out of high shool, but I said screw it and basically slacked off so much and sort of screwed up my future in the process. Go figure! So now I'm at a community college trying to get my GPA up so I can have the potential to go somewhere else.

Take the AP classes and study your ass off! If you're planning on going to college, I'm sure it'll help.

On the other hand, a girl I know took all Honors/AP classes and is attending the same community college I am. So...I guess it could go both ways.

Also I have these next year, I'm a sophmore.....Sounds like fun

They are given at different times in different parts of the country.

I took some AP classes, but I never spent the money to take the tests. Opting out really saved me a lot of mental anguish, and saved a hole in my pocket, but didn't exactly get me anywhere in my future.

ap tests really helped me out a ton. i came into college with 23 hours, almost a sophmore (you need 30 to be a soph). work hard on them, find out what grade the school you want to go to requires for credit, and find out which tests they take. its worth it ill graduate at least a semester, if not a year, early and get a jump on law school

BAH I SAY! bah to your APs!
I took 1, just cause I wanted to take the class, I almost got kicked out of high school (2 or 3x) and I'm at a top 50 college.
APs are crap.
Most Liberal Arts colleges wont take AP credit unless its a 5. Don't take em, don't stress about em. You got better things to do (like be done with high school).
That said, I have to write a 25 page paper on the philosophy of literature in the next 10 hours. Gnite.
