myfamily.com ?? possible virus

anyone else home or corporate user getting thier webpages re-directed to myfamily.com website?

it doesnt seem to be effecting major company websites. MSN, CNN, M$, and such.. but im nto sure yet if it is certian sites or random.

im just wondering if anyone has noticed this yet or not.

maybe its just us, maybe it might be a bigger.. who knows

That sounds like adware or spyware to me. Use spywareblaster, adaware, and spybot search and destroy to get rid of it. Use all three since no single solution is 100% effective. Even then, it may not get all of it but should break it so it isn't active.

found out its not a viri, but our SurfControl box that is causing half the problem.

i just jumped ahead and thought maybe it might be a viri.
