Moth Vs Tornado

a large moth the size of my middle finger just flew into my tornado intake with no grill on it.........it is disturbing. MONSTER mess all over the pc, ill get pics tomrrow my dad just told me to hit the sack....this is disgusting. Anyone else have something this violent happen?

ummmm....wow. the only thing I can think of is the myriad of insects I encounter when I'm hurtling across the blacktop on my Sting-Ray at 30 plus.

lol good god.......that's why I hate summer...not only is it time for bad overclocks but all the damn freakin insects come out of the wood works. Lucky his little moth guts didn't short something!

But yeaaaaaaaah Definitely wouldn't be fun having to clean that crap up....ehhh

I disagree with BA, I think pictures would be very nice. I just want to see if its guts actually splattered all throughout your case like I figured it would.

Be careful when cleaning to use a static-resistant cloth of some sort! >_>

If it's a gooey moth, you might want to power it down and use contact cleaner to get the goo off, otherwise corrosion might occur.

BTW, This thread is useless without pics...

Actually, I have had something like that happen. I didn't actually see it happen, but I heard something large go through the fan one day. From what was left, I think it was one of those big wolf spiders. It went through my 92 thermaltake, and that must have shot it onto the Northbridge chipset fan.

That's why it always in your best interest to at least have a fan grill..........and a filter for those intake fans..........The inside of my case would be a freakin mess without a filter.......with all the Pine pollen that's around during the spring time.......it's extremely bad down here in Georgia.....

I just cleaned my filter yesterday........let's see.....cat hair, pine pollen (lots of that) and dust balls......
