Default Is Pricewatch down?

Maybe it's just me, or perhaps it's something far more sinister. When I search for something on pricewatch.com I get this weird message:

"File . Unspecified error "

Does anyone else get this?

Right now if I search inside of pricewatch I get this error and I cant seem to figure out how to get around it. I cannot search anything from my machine. The computer beside me has no problem so I have no idear.

I get that problem in Internet Exploder, tried turning down privacy options on firewall, no success, but if I try using Nutscrape, it comes up fine.

I've just been chalking it up to "One of those things" but I'm sure there's an arcane setting somewhere I'm missing...

darkomyn, I have to say that that link is perhaps the most annoying thing anybody has ever done and I hope you burn in hell for it. Plus I think the advice you gave would be a very bad thing to do. I'm just guessing, though, I'm sure as hell not going to try it. Deleting an entire registry folder is usually not a good thing.

Actualy you can do what Darkomyn said and you will ahve to reinstall IE but it will work after that. Just so you fellas know only. Not trying to get into it with anyone and I understand how ppl could take that message as I have seen ppl post malitious stuff. But in this case, darkomyn is right and it works great. I posted here back in June of 03 and forgot all about this forum even till now. Just a confirmation post realy.
Have a good`n.

A pix to make it easier.

Clown is right not to mention being staff. What does this all have to do with Price Watch being down 2 years ago?

Geez godamn laweez.. it has nothen with pricewatch being down nor pricewatch EVER being down.. It has to be with IE ****ing up which to fix it you need to do that register thing..
I though a forum was to post and help ppl. Not to just have somethen then ****ing complain about it because its to old or somethen.. who gives a rats ass how old the damn thing is? eh? wtf.. . "obviously" someone needed the info now today.. this day.. annnd it just happend to be 2 years ago too..

Staff had nothen to do with it.. what would he being staff have to do with **** other than a power trip, or a some kind of power being able to kick/ban ppl if he feels they are talken about a topic he deems as being unworthy ? if so, this ****ing forum sucks and will always suck.

My point was that if it is not about Price Watch being down then you should start a new thread. You will find more help that way. It also has to do with respect, be it for your elders or those with more experience.

Listen folks, if you read the thread, I was trying to verify some information that was knocked down by someone that appeared to want to just post somethen that he realy didnt know about. So I replied with total respect to let ppl know that in fact, that post did work. If you look at the post from Clown, he was NOT exactly the most polite, nice, hey fellas, helpful kinda guy posting in respect himself. He obviously knows hes the boss of the forum and I think he could have shown more respect himself as well as posting a more respectable, nice post that was effective. To me, his post was about as worthless as the reason I posted here this time and the one that posted saying he was admin of hte forum. All of which have nothing to do with the fact that this post was started because of an issue. NOT just pricewatch btw, it was also windrivers.. In my case that is.. and the "REAL" fact is, this issue is still happening.. This happened at my work not less than 2 weeks ago.

I posted a reply to verify.. NOt to get into a debate of, this thread doesnt count. Forums are for information.. Not ppl that are just waiting to jump on somethen that they think is worthless and try to knock down other ppls ideas and things.

So close this thread. ban me, or whatever. I totaly 'tried' to only pass good info. Thats what forums are for.. or supposed to be for.

I wont post here again as I dont visit it anwyay. I got an email sayen there was a reply and thought I was helping.

Chill, nobody going to ban you or close this thread (unless it gets out of control), we were just trying to show that your post was a bit irrelevant to the subject that was discussed 2 years ago. If you wanted to help somebody, should have started a new thread. Then the picture size was way too big, and was messing up the layout of the site.
