"Direct removal of a live leech might be difficult because of its powerful attachment to the mucosa and its slimy and mobile body," the journal said.

And how could the first doctor NOT notice a leach in her nose... but then again, how could she not notice something swim up there in the first place?

maybe the leeches have some mind control that makes them snap happy! (refering to camera happy)
