I like to do that. Great idea very creative. I'm jealous.

That is a serious mod.

Northern California dweller Ryan Hoagland wasnÃ‚â€™t satisfied with the view from his living room. So, when he had the opportunity to acquire some LCD monitors from work, a light bulb alighted above his head and a modding project began: What if you could have any view you wanted out of your windows? With some carpentry, soldering, and computer skills, he put together his virtual windows. And so can you with his step-by-step instructions at hoagy.org. Although it only projects pictures, Ryan promises that version 2.0 will be video views.

What if only your imagination limited what you could see outside your windows? Flat panel technology is quickly becoming bigger, better, and more affordable, which will allow for all sorts of fun ways to transport your domicile to wherever tickles your fancy. This is my modest attempt to view something more interesting than my neighbors.

that's outstanding, minus the cost and amount of visible wires...for the amount of time and work put into this project, you think they would have tried to hide the wires...
