Some nice footage of target practice with a gattlin gun on choppers.

I love that video. Nothing like a GAU-2 going off to wake you up in the morning.
Its a pretty good rush to fire 4000 Rounds per min.

What you don't see is those other five rounds between each tracer round

Looking at it again, that would make such an awesome weapon for a FPS, with the tracers it's like spraying something with water.

Ooooh yeah! I remember a show that used to be on the discovery channel in the 90s called Firepower. That was a cool show and on one episode they showed some slow motion footage of the GAU/8 (think its called?) blasting the hell out of a tank from above. They were using tracer rounds and it literally looked like a rain of death, and pretty much instantly obliterated the tank.

I bet the barrels on that gun get so hot...

I think I read somewhere that in WWII when the barrels on the high fire rate/heat weapons got too hot the soldiers would urinate on them to cool them as opposed to wasting their valuable water supplies on it.

Just think guys, they are perfectly legal to own yourself in many states of the USA. All you need is the proper funding and government paperwork. That video is mostly footage from here in the US by the Dillon reloading company (Aero division). I doubt any of that was filmed over in iraq. They sell many movies on VHS and DVD that feature incredible amounts of legal firepower. Everything from full auto glock pistols up to the gatling guns and quad-mount fiftys. Dillon himself owns several fully operational helicopter gunships and even owns a fighter aircraft with a legal fully operational machine gun system. One of his videos show him doing strafing runs on his ranch out in the desert. He supplied the suv minigun for Monster Garage when Jesse shredded the sand dragster. You can check them out here http://dillonprecision.com for reloading stuff and this http://dillonaero.com For the heavy artilery.
