I'm interested in seeing what the OLDEST hunk of crap you have in your house is.

The oldest computer in my house is an Apple Powerbook 160

well i don't have any really OLD rigs anymore

but i do have a AMD 286 Mobo! ISA slots and the lil 36 pins ram slots!

Well I have an old HP P3 733 with 256 mb RAM at my house. My oldest rig (still in use at my grandmas house) is a IBM PS/1 Consultant 486sx/25 with 4 mb RAM that I latter upgraded to 485dx2/50 with 8 mb RAM......that thing was the fastest PC in town. I remember the days...........

I wasn't into computers in those days, which is why I bought this one to learn a bit about old school PCs. I'm amazed it still works, and it boots faster than anything else I've seen. Not a bad deal for $20 at the thrift store.

Oldest I had was a Tandy 1000EX, now the oldest in the house is the HP Pavillion 502N.

we had an old computer but i have no idea what the specs were, i couldnt tell you now and its long gone. MY first computer was a 200 mhz dell, pentium (original)

Oldest rig I have that works is a pentium class 200 mhz machine. I haven't plugged it in for a few years but it started up just great last time I tried. It has that ripping fast 14.4 modem and 8 bit audio. If, I'm remembering correctly its loaded up with 64 meg of memory. I have an old Apple IIc down at the parents house but that thing hasn't worked correctly since '95. I blew the color monitor adaptor and programming in green monochrome just doesn't cut it these days.

ERAD that appears to be an early early early 286 before they went to ceramic dies. XT probably.

My oldest is a gaming rig I specially built for old skool fun, it's a K6-2 550, 256mb ram and a Voodoo 3000 AGP, W2K and a 10gb HDD, top of the line circa 1999. Plays HL in Glide mode decently too, OpenGL too, but Direct3D? Forget it.

The oldest thing i got is a laser 128 that came out right after apple man those days were great...... helicopter, sammy lightfoot, the original mario bros. And ive also got that SUPER PONG IV !!!! WOOOOOT with all 4 paddles YES GO ME........... aaaaah the good old days(not a rig but for 1974 it was genious)

Got three ZEOS 286's w/whoppin' 40 mb hard drives and a massive 4 mb of memory, running DOS 3.3. Wish I could figure out a way to link them together so that I could get one 486 out of it.....
