Extra Ipod Battery Cheap

Have you ever found your self nowhere near a plug and you Ipod is about to die??
Well this HERE tells you how to make your own Ipod battery with a few every day items
I was planinng on makeing on makeing one of these but right now I dont realy have time
with finals,homework and new classes.

is firewire 12 volts? do you have to feed the ipod 12 volts to charge? it is rated 5-30 volts so wont 4 AA cells charge it? since all i can find is that firewire is 3-33 volts is it true that macs put out 28 volts over firewire? (if you own a mac measure it and dont automaticly complain about 12 volt being the highest in a pc since apparently mac supplies have a 28 volt rail.)

I dont think It needs 12 volts becuase he also made one that runs off 1 9volt battery HERE
