Default What tune'll kick your @$$??

We've all had those magical times . . . coffee, tea, Bawls . . . whatever energy drink of choice just isn't cutting it . . You've tried showering, both hot and cold . . . You still feel as if a brain damaged snail that's partially frostbitten could give you a run in the speed department . . .

And then there's a click inside your brain . . . Something in your surroundings has just reached out and smacked you across the face . . . adrenaline rushes through your body . . . you suddenly feel as if you could either take on the world, or at least exterminate a good portion of it in the midst of a homicidal rage . . .

Yes!! You've done it! You are finally alert, awake and so vamped that nothing can bring you down!! And then . . . . your energy levels slump off the slightest bit as the song that reached into your brain and kicked your various 'get the hell up and go' glands right in the teeth has come to an end. The radio station has moved on . . . the video channel has gone to the crappy antithesis of that which just woke you up . . . or, the car that was blasting down the street has moved out of range . . .

YES!! you scream! MUSIC!! That's the ticket!!! You run to your music player of choice and start thumbing, sliding, clicking, whatever, until you find it . . . the magical cure! You queue up . . . .

Well, currently in my case, my ass just got handed to me by a group called '3 Inches of Blood', playing 'Deadly Sinners'.

What'd be YOUR song??

hmmm, I have a lot of songs. couple of them are ZZ Top - "Ten Foot Pole", "Sharp Dressed Man", Three Six Mafia - "Ridin' Spinners" and "Gang Signs", I also like Humate - "3.2 Bedrock" and old skool Sasha when he was spinnin' with John Digweed, I have a live set from Club Massive in Ullricht, Germany that is f*cking awesome. Also love me some DJ Irish.

I wanna strap a cam to both my bikes and rape the sidewalks of Downtown Melbourne, dub some Vivaldi - Four Seasons "Spring" for the video of the 76' Schwinn Superior and some Metallica -
"Master of Puppets" for my Sting-Ray. Any speed metal from Metallica before "...And Justice For All"

I love the old metallica too. TOOL is indeed, a kickass band. I like their remake on zepplin's "No Quarter".

A good rock song gets my blood flowing. Rap.. just makes me wanna smoke a blunt.

It's a toss up between:

The Woggles: "Ramadan Romance" (awesome Atlanta band)

Fred Schneider (with backing by Deadly Cupcake - Steve Albini, Russell Simmins, and Rick Lee): "Bulldozer"

There's this one 80's song they still play on 99x in Atlanta all the time, day or night. Not sure if this is the name... "Pumped Up Personality"... definately a song to wake you up and make you feel energized.
