New soda...

Anybody tried this yet?

Heard about it and it sounded interesting, so i picked up a 12 pack the other day, but honestly i cant taste a difference between this and regular Dr Pepper, not that i have any to do a side by side comparison.

they forgot to add the Diet part or the 1/2 carb thing... then that covers everything they can do to a soda

Oh I can taste the difference. The old one is awesome and the new one is boring...and I really can't taste any of the flavors mentioned

You know, I'm looking at that can and all my brain can produce is "But isn't that the flavor of Dr. Pepper? Cherry Vanilla cola?"

I'll have to try to find it to sample myself, but I'm pretty sure it may just be a marketing scheme . . . . "See, it's different because we changed the packaging!! For a limited time! Get ripped off now!!"

Either that, or I'll be pleasantly suprised, and get addicted to yet ANOTHER limited release drink . . . Just in time for it to never be made again.

IIRC, Dr. Pepper isnt a cola at all, but the regular Dr Pepper is a prune based flavor... Worf would approve.

Yep, we have had that in Iowa forever (okay probably like 2 months or so) - I love it, I drink mostly the diet version but both are fabulous.

i wana try that. I could never figure out what the flavor or Dr. Pepper was though. But I always loved it.

I want to try that so bad...but I gave pop up for my new years res. I was a mess the first 2 weeks but now things are going really good. And my physical shape is really improving. I hope I can make it the rest of the year! I think ROB is doing this also.....wonder how he is doin?

I tried it last night as I'm a Pepper. Dr. Pepper is my favorite pop, I don't care for regular cola like Coke and Pepsi. This new incarnation isn't as bad as the Fusion they put out last year, but not worth the hype IMHO. To me, it tastes just like regular Dr. Pepper with a funky aftertaste. My brother, girlfriend and another friend all concur. Just goes to show that you can't improve everything.

On a side note, I want to shorten Dr. Pepper to DP, but am a bit afraid of the implications.

Best Dr Pepper ever made are the Dublin Dr Peppers. LINKAGE to Dublin Dr Pepper so you can see what its all about.

If my KB wasn't wireless, it would have as much MD on it as my monitor does.

Cheery AND vanilla....hmm. I bought a 12-pack the other day too. The stuff isn't bad. It does taste alot like regular Dr. Pepper...but I think that's a good thing. It's the only vanilla soda I can stomach so far.

I don''t like dark sodas in general because I can't chug the whole can (carbonation is different) like orange soda or Dew, but when I do I like Dr. Pepper or Pepsi....and now this new one.

I give it 8 pimp hats.

I'm not sure what you're drinking (water, juices, etc)...but I would highly recommend Poweraid/Gatorade/Propel fitness water as a decent alternative.

But anyways..I've never been a big fan of Dr. pepper...so I'll probably stay away from this stuff. However I still want to try that new 7up stuff.

...I can't tell you guys how many times I've see a sonic commercial on TV, and how many times it made my friends and I craving for sonic food...

...except the fact that there is no Sonic anywhere remotely close! Grrrr lol

Mainly water, orange juice, and YooHoo chocolate milk, but I'll have a lemonade about once a week.
