Every once in a while someone pops out of the woodwork and realy makes a hella good impression, we recently had a long time member pop up and speak his mind about the whole Tekxroid soap opera

BA noticed this guy had some style, and a head on his shoulders, and with the goading from other members, he has decided to step out of the shadows and stop lurking.

I would like to realy give him a warm welcome, and since he's pretty new, he doesn't have the proper Pimp clothes he deserves, so I thought I might ask some of our fine photo shop hoe's to help a brutha out.

I don't have anything to give away, but all will get Bling for participating

I have to say, I'm honored by all the notice. Literally, I stepped back into a profile I wasn't sure was working, just to make sure that no one thought Tek was spying on the thread, and I end up getting all this attention. I only hope I can live up to the hype.

Now, as far as what I'm looking for in an avatar/sig . . . No real clue, but I have a few ideas that might give you all an avenue to work with . . . .

My intro shows a touch of my geekdom, but what I didn't focus on was that I'm also a HUGE metal fan . . . Currently Dream Theater has been wearing out my eardrums, but anything from Judas Priest to Iron Maiden, OLD Metallica (none of the stuff that Bob Rock polluted, thank you very much) Megadeth . . . The list just goes on. Classic or new, chances are I've heard it at least once, and if it made an impression, it's now among the 45 gigs of mp3's on my HDD.

So, the general gist I have is this . . . Something that says 'I am Metal, I am Geek . . . I AM PIMP!'

Or was that a lil too much?

Any ideas you have, PLEASE toss them my way, and hopefully my brain won't suck when it comes to making a decisions.

AHHHHH!!!!
i am going insane, my rig as ben down for 4 days now and i need to use ps but i am stuck on this old ass laptop. i have the best font for this sig, hopefully i can submit one soon. Do You have any Rig Stats that you would want on there or do you want us to leave a blank space for you to put them?

To the rest, I did some brainstorming after my morning coffee cut through the brain haze and came up with this . . . For the Metal aspect, I've always been a huge fan of Iron Maiden and love their mascot, Eddie. Stick a pimp hat on him, and rock on. . . add something to do with Coffee or Espresso, as I also used to be a barista ( I did a LOT of various jobs in my past), and of course Pimping the rig.

However, original ideas are still being considered, of course.

elitelilnoyd - Those are great and I'm gonna keep the second one for future usage . . . something about how the flame like colloration came out that just caught my eye. Thanks a lot! *saves pic to desktop*

Hehe, I actually have no skill with photoshop. I just used a web based graphics tool to make those.

Something about drougnor screams Trogdor to me.....can't figure out why.

If the CPU is unlocked, try running 11.5x200 with 1.75v, and then try 12x200 with 1.8v.

Watch you temps, 50c is around the max temp for stabilty when overclocking, run Folding@Home to load test your OC (PR is team 596!)

If it's a locked CPU, you will need to raise the FSB, and that is a bit more involved...don't have the time to get into that ATM.

Read OC 101-103 at Mod the Box under the guides section before you jump in!

Hey, thanks! My Mobo prettymuch doesn't care if the cpu is locked or not, so that's not a problem. (LOVE Chaintech for that bit.) but I'll definately read those guides.

It's because of the crap I've seen ppl pull and act like over the years. I'm a big believer in respect. I just can NOT understand what it is that makes anyone act like an emotional infant on any forum . . .
