| Does anyone here believe that everything in the bible is coded for all events of time? Personnally I think the bible is an old fairy tale, but I just watched a story on the History channel about the bible code. Supposedly 9/11, the space shuttle Columbia, and even the end of Earth in 2012 by a meteor is predicted by the bible. What are your thoughts? | ||

| ^ Yes, I believe the bible. So where all gonna die in 2012 and we can do nothing!!! J/K - But really, its a tough call. Because things get changed over the years, like in that little game called "operator" most kids have played at one point in thier lives, tales change quicker than you'd think ( John Kerry Swiftboat accountings for example ) and along with the fact that it was exclusively New Testamential data would only bring about superstition and skepticism, that is until god iornically unleashes the wrath that will become the unwritten final page of the bible? we'll see.. We'll See.. ![]() | ||

| Ok sense no one is answering your question. No it doesnt contain any of that. The bible does indicate a time in the "last days" when "Nation will rise against nation and kingdom aganst kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another." No where in the bible will you find what events you just asked about. | ||

| Nostradamus predicted a lot of crap. Matter of fact, the end of the earth was supposed to happen a few times already. People read what they want into his writing. Many words can be taken several ways. I can be Nostradamus too... I predict that during the time of the light haired leader, and when the rains fall overly much, a great tragedy will befall the state with the windy city. Prove that I'm wrong. As far as your religious views go, nobody here cares one iota what you think about religion, so why don't you just keep that to yourself, mmmkay? | ||

| Well anyone can find anything anywhere when it has to deal with predections so when it comes to any of it ,i cant swallow it. My predections are as followed: this topic will die out in 3 hours...tops choose to live your life in fear and you will allways expect the worse .In addition somewhere somehow you can allways find a argument to back up your thoughts or beliefs. if a predection is wrong people will allways blaim it on the math involved ,not theimselves.(hince the code in the bible ,and good old Nostradamus) live each second as it was your last because you never know what will happen a minute from now ,and be responsable for the actions taken, because this moment we live in will never repeat its self. | ||

Actually, you're mistaken about that...the Bible is full of examples of men who disregarded divine instruction and suffered the consequences. Often, the writer himself was the one who made the mistake. (King David for example) How many other leaders expose their missteps in that manner, recorded for all to read? As for the original question, it's a crock. I'm sure mathematicians could find the same predictions in the Encyclopedia Brittanica or the Harry Potter series if they looked hard enough. ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
