heh, yeah it does. and its not a store bought thing so even better. i kinda think that frozencpu's thing looks kind of wierd since you're going to have this box mounted onto your psu . ..

What it allows you to do is to use only the cords that you need to use for your computer. For example, my Antec power supply came with three sets of molexs, two had the four pin plus the floppy, and the third had only two four pin. If I was building a LAN rig where I only needed one HD and one DVD-Rom, those extra cables would have to be stashed someplace. Using a modular power supply allows you to use only one cord with two four pins on it. It's a "use only what you need" concept designed to keep the insides of your computer free of airflow obstructions.......and to look really cool. Rob

| That looks like it would be nice for people who want to go modular but don't want to shell out the cash to purchase a new power supply. Thing is...why does it need the box? Oh and on the site and directions there is no warning about being able to injuring yourself and voiding the warranty on the PSU....Someone should contact them about it. I'd say.. "If it can be modded then mod it! And if can't be modded then find a way!" PS: Thanks for the name dropping Rob ![]() | ||

you're basically just shortening the wires so they terminate right at the casing of the psu. then you can just use molex extension cables for whatever you need to connect
