Throwback adult swim promos?

Gotta be some adult swim fans on here, only place to still get futurama and family guy along with some good anime. Whats up with the old promos? I loved the clever white text on black stuff. I dunno, random musings...

they have been saying for a little bit that there is gonna be a "classic bump week"
that is the reason it is going on.

adult swim kicks ass. i do remember the classic bump week promos, saying they would give the white/black bumps a rest for a week, but it seems to have been longer than a week, i think. I dont prefer one over the other. They are all funny. BTW, you can watch futurama and family guy on tbs superstation on friday nights, when cartoon network usually has something lame, like a powerpuff girls marathon or something.

[rant]Love the swim, absolutely HATE Tom goes to the Mayor. What is up with that show? Waste of time... show Birdman or Sealab earlier too.

omg me too. that is the stupidest show ive ever seen. i hate the style of animation, and the story was just as stupid. Not crazy about sealab. some ppl think its the greatest....i dont really care for it. Birdman is stupid. i dont like it either lol. i absolutely dispise japanimation, but there are a cpl of them i can stomach. lol ~Heather

Don't get Adult Swim up here, at least not without having satellite or digital cable.
Closest thing I get is The Detour on Teletoon.

Birdman is ok, Sealab is the greatest, the old episodes at least. Most of the anime is good, i think the only things i dont watch are inuyasha and case closed. The new ones, full metal alchemist is good and SAC is awsome. Havn't made up my mind about Venture Bros yet, sometimes its good, sometimes its not. As for tom goes to the mayor, its weird, but i like it. The episode w/ tenacious D the other night was hilarious, although i was drunk enough that super milk chan made sense...

Hehe since they're over here on William St. right near 85. I'll go tell them to put on more Futurama, Family Guy, ATHF, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Case Closed.

those are the only things I watch on [Adult Swim]!
