Nascar Point System

Ok, Now that things have settled down in the Nextel Cup garages. What do you really think of the new Points system? I never Liked it from the get go, But after studying further into it and reading and answering millions of questions I think that the old points system should be put back in place.

Here is an example of the points on the old system as of the last race at Homestead.

Many of you know I am a Jeff gordon fan. I am in no means crying about this but the man was robbed of his 5th title.

How about they go to only the winner gets points then there will be no confusion.

Although I was skeptical at first, the new points system worked well this year. I say give it a couple more seasons. About your Gordon...I thought it was funny when at the race here in Kansas, a person came with a life sized replica of him crying in diapers and placed it by the main walkway. Even the track staff was laughing.

The new points system looks reasonable to me ..... for the record I have never been a Gordon fan. I like to see the "old" guys race, people that have been around for years. They usually dont finish the greatest but who cares. You will NEVER see anyone carry a life sized replica of Bill Elliot in diapers crying into a track.
