Only goes to show that politicians cannot be trusted. He preaches on his relationship with God and how Christian he is only to see that in fact he is no different than the average hypocrite.

Sometimes people forget these are just regular people - looks like something I would have done.

Sorry, E, that you misunderstood my statement. It wasn't directed towards Christians and Christianity, but rather towards his hypocrisy. His display of the middle finger coupled with the statement "one finger victory salute" doesn't seem to me a proper way to behave towards your fellow man.

Jus so we are clear, I despise former President Clinton in the same fashion. Conveying to the American public that he is a good, Christian husband while he's shoving cigars into the local White House intern is on the same level. I also have other reasons for disliking the former President but that isn't the subject here.

If we don't hold our leaders to a higher standard, what else would we have?

I went to Catholic school my entire life. I have read the bible cover to cover multiple times. I have even studied a lot of the history of the Catholic church. To date, I have never once read/heard/seen that flipping the bird to a camera in a joking way was a sin/BAD thing. He didn't mean it in a derogatory way towards anyone. It was all in good fun and not directed toward anyone.

He made a joke in a semi-private setting. Now all of a sudden he is a hypocrit and un-christian?

Well Rob, all I can say is that after being lied about by Kerry, the media, and all the other Libs for over two years now, IÂ’m surprised thatÂ’s all he did. I know you donÂ’t like the President and thatÂ’s your choice, but letÂ’s be honest, if anyone else did that youÂ’d think it was funny because you know it was.

I totaly agree, also I don't see how this is on the same level as Clinton's actions.

Bush flickin' off the camera does not compare to Clinton. And Just because he claims he is a devout christian does not mean he is perfect...

Rofl He Is Picking His Nose Too

I actually don't know when it was made, just ran across it while listening to those soundboard prank calls they have on that website and thought you guys would get a kick out of it. (Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis rule.....that crap had me in tears.)

Anyway, I actually liked the clip. It makes him less dehumanized. But let's be honest, that's got to be one of the weakest middle fingers I've ever seen. I think my granny could outdo that. I guess maybe that's a good thing because it's obvious he hasn't practiced very much.
