Thought this wasn's suposed to work.

well i got some crazy problems with my motherboard from a powersurge, and dim 1 dosnt always want to work i have to wiggle it like crazy to get it to read. and i have 2x256m and 1 512mb stick. so you can see that is a problem. well today wen i booted up, once again dim 1 dosnt work, so i only have 700 whatever of working ram. well i look and it says its still in dual chanel. and i run a test and get my usualy bandwith score. i was always led to beleive this was impossible....

the Dimms look right, but you got me on the dual channel detection. wierd

edit: do you mean it's not detecting DIMM 0 or misdetecting dimm 1?
