I would like to express my thanks to the members who attempted to straighten out a bastard who was posting some pretty sick stuff late last night/early this morning. The mods and admins cannot always be on when something like that happens, but the response to his posts was better than we could have hoped for.

We get a lot of folks who post innappropriately at first because they are used to how other sites work and they always say, "This is bull, I've never seen a site like this!". After they hang around a bit they state the same thing somewhat differently, "This is great, I've never seen a site like this!".

I feel great that members immediately recognized the problem, reported it, and tried to correct it in a "mostly" reasonable manner. Especially Zennzzo who truly tried to get the dude on the right track through a series of PM's. One of the responses he received went something like "I belong to 15 modding sites and this is the only one that won't let me post what I think." Damn straight, when he thinks and posts thoughts about having sex with his mother he can stick with those other 15 sites.

That ex-member has been banned. It's obvious he just isn't going to get it so there is no need to waste time on him. Again, thanks guys for taking enough pride in PR to want to keep our house clean.

I was just trying to kill some time on one of those sleepless friday nights, and what I read, I couldn't belive.
I saw no sense in giving him what he obviously wanted...attention anywhere he could.
That kinda stuff reflects us all, I won't stand for it....

Dang, I feel bad that I missed the excitement (somewhat, since I was here in spirit forgetting to log out last night before going to bed).

i thought Zennzzo & Lateronmly did an awesome job. you two are pretty cule...well, you know, for authority figures, that is great job guys .

I missed out on what happend but good job on taking care of the problem.

stereomod was the first "voice of reason" on that thread (well done bro ), and he did it without being belligerent. i saw his site for about 30 secs before it went down...my best guess is that he was either wasted, or just a sociopath (or both). it was definitely...er..."interesting".
