Anyone know when TDK will release thier new Indi DVD/rw?

According to their press release, the single-format version should be available sometime this month for around $349, and the multi-format one is coming next month (price TBA). Sorry no specific dates...

A lot of people think they're a rebadged version of the NEC ND-1100/1090's, but it doesn't look like those are available here yet either.

I love the TDK Cdrw/s and really want to stick with a great brand.

Just came home from Best Buy. They had them. The 2.4X is $300 and the 4X is $400. Just got Diablo Battle Chest and Warcraft 3 For $40 dollars total due to a misprint.

yeah best buy here has them for 349 for the 4x. And found a program that will copy dvd's i this months issue of maximum pc. It is called dvdxcopy and runs 100.00.they guarentee to copy all the dvd's
