Yes, the dark mass approaching was indeed the largest flock of swallows England had ever seen. Two seconds later, the knights were sorry they had been looking straight up.

The Knights Who Always Look Up go in search of the royal chiropractor. Unfortunately the chiropractor is of modest stature and the knights search for years unable to see him. Not until Gawain trips over a pile of dragon droppings do the knights find the diminuative chiropractor and end their holy quest for spinal realignment.
