Default What to buy for my birthday money????

Yesterday was my birthday so I got some money.
I'm going to spend it (roughly 200 euros) on my rig.
Now I got a question for y'all:

Should I buy a watercooling set, or go for some extra memory (harddisk and ram)

I found this wc-kit, is it any good?

Looks like a nice watercooling kit. But I've never heard of them but have heard that you'd need $300 for a decent water cooling system. With 200Euros I think you can definately upgrade memory , you can never have enough hard drives! LoL

Well Here are my specs

AMD Athlon xp 2400 @ 2.4ghz
512 MB RAM
1x 40 gb disk
2x 120 gb disk

But I've got like 200 gb free so a new hdd is actually not THAT necessary.
I think the wc-kit would be a good kit for just starting out with wc-ing, and I could buy another stick of ram which would be nice

These are the specs of the wc-kit

Hmm...looks good I guess you could go for the WC kit. I wonder if you could mod it to accomidate 1/2 tygon fittings since those tubes look tiny. Good luck with your choice! And let us know what happens!

The resevoir looks REALLY small, I think I'll be needing a bigger one for sure, and some fluorescent paint stuff in the cooling fluid.
it's gonna be a 200 euro wc-kit with the new res, tubes and colouring

My personal opinion with watercooling is if you don't know about the product you want to get, you don't know enough about watercooling yet. I'd make sure you know the process inside and out, parts as well, before you give it a shot. But then, I've never watercooled.

I just finished my first water cooling setup ans it was a definitely a first for me...

Yeah Do a lil sniffing around, check out the kits from Corsair, Koolance, Titan, Coolermaster. Or find a nice Swiftech or Danger Den kit.

$250 USD gets you this setup

DD TDX 478
DD Maze 4 GPU
Hydor L20
Asetek Res (quick-locks suck get better barbs)
MHQ + Shroud
Tubing 3/8"
Clamps

CPU Load Temps are 10-15c cooler @ 30-33c
GPU Load Temps are 40c cooler @ 35-40c

I would get something from www.dangerden.com also. They are much better kits and look a lot better too with the 3/8 or 1/2 inch ID tubing. Also they're a great brand thats been proven over and over again.
