unknown program

What is Azureus? I downloaded it, but when I click on the icon all it does is momentarily flash the DOS screen. What is it suppose to do? And how do I get it to work?

Why the hell would you download a program if you don't know what it does??? You're just BEGGING for a virus, aren't you?

Azureus is a manager for torrents. Dunno what your problem with it is though. Just a warning, its a memory and bandwidth hog.

Indeed...around 60MB of ram in use and 10~25% CPU while actively leeching or seeding a torrent.

Erm...I know because...I share uhh...freeware on the torrent network.

pp79wc, you may have just downloaded a tiny bit of the file and IE's cache of it got
corrupted, delete your temporary internet files, then redownload the setup file.
