I never played Magic much, but i remember playing Star Wars:CCG online with card table sometimes. Any experience with cardtable? Outa curiosity, how does this compare?

I didn't like magic online. I played it, but it wasn't the same as real cards.

My strategy: Static Orb + Seedborn Muse

I loved Magic back in the day. I haven't played in years, and there seems to be like 100 different expansion sets out there lol. From what I remember Magic used to be, and still seems to be very competitive.

I wish they had something online for Yu-Gi-Oh players.

Yeah, I picked up Magic online when it first came out, Aside from the ridiculous amount of money it cost, (you bought $3 "virtual" booster packs, with real money) It isn't the same. You can't bluff, and you can't intimidate your opponent.

well i just got the hang of this program.
to play with this, you gotta know the rules cause the program just lets you play cards down.
you even have to set your own life.
so its easy to cheat, but im honest.

So you actually have to buy expansion packs online?

Like, you can't manually input the cards you have. Can anyone have a Black Lotus? Or do you have to buy the "virtual" version of it?

When i picked it up *2 years ago?* it cost 15$, and came with a (virtual) starter deck coupon. The virtual cards had the same price as the retail counterparts. After playing with a starter deck, for about 3 days, I said f*ck this, I'm not paying for a bunch of 1's and 0's when I can go get real cards.

The black lotus was an online tournament prize when I played. But, you had to buy tournament passes ($2).

Again, this may have changed. I stopped playing 2 years ago.

with apprentice you can make any deck to any of your desires as long as they follow the rules.
but you gota know the rules 100% otherwise it gets hard because the program was made by a couple of people, not wizard programers.
i like it, but there is nothing better than playing the real deal.
nothing..........................
